Travel Instructions for Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Airport is clearly signposted within the vicinity of London as
well as the surrounding counties that house any major roads. This airport
is situated outside London at approximately 20 miles west. All good maps
should clearly highlight the airport as well as all the roads within a
30 mile proximity of Heathrow. It is vital however to be aware of what
terminal that you are departing from as the roads vary slightly on the
approach to the airport.
Heathrow Airport Parking:
Travelling from the North
We recommend the following three routes if you are travelling from the
North West. Either take the M4, the M6 and M6(toll) or the M40. However,
if you are travelling from the North East we suggest the M1, A1(M) or
the M18. All the roads for mentioned will connect to the M25 which has
Heathrow Airport signposted throughout. If you are departing from either
Terminal 1, 2 or 3 then take the exit which connects to the A4. Otherwise,
take the exit that connects to the A308 and then joining the A30 for Terminal
4.
Travelling from the South
We recommend the following four motorways to gain access to the M25. These
would be the M3, M4, M20 and M23. Once connected to the M25 Heathrow Airport
will be clearly signposted. If you are departing from either Terminal
1, 2 or 3 then take the exit which connects to the A4. Otherwise, take
the exit that connects to the A308 and then joining the A30 for Terminal
4.
